Yog abhyasas it was meantto be in योगशाळा
Depth without overwhelm — the quiet wealth (sampada) of health that a steady practice builds. A traditional, therapeutic Yog practice led by Sampada, an AYUSH-certified Yog therapist, in a small, serene, satvik space.
500+ hours of Yog therapy, Ministry of AYUSH
The meaning of the name
योग · unionसंपदा · wealth
Yog (योग) comes from the Sanskrit root yuj — to yoke, to join. It is union: of mind, body and breath, and of individual awareness with something far larger than itself.
Sampada (संपदा) is wealth — the kind that doesn’t fade. Together, yogsampada is the abundance a steady practice quietly builds.
You come to the योगशाळा not to pass an hour, but to grow genuinely rich in health — in steadiness, in breath, in Yog.

“A must go to yoga studio in Borivali. All the instructors are just awesome and the studio environment just feels so positive and calm. We get to learn daily new variations and we enjoy each yoga session. We also enjoy doing yoga with a wide variety of props they have. Overall one can have best experience at Yogshala! Already about to complete one year with Yogshala in coming months and look forward to continue with Sampada Mam and Deepali Mam! ”

Is “Yog” the same as yoga?
Yes. We write “Yog” — the original Sanskrit — for the traditional, therapeutic practice most people know as yoga. The intent is depth: Yog as the union of body, breath and mind, not just exercise.
Do you offer garbhasanskar and prenatal yoga?
Yes — trimester-wise garbhasanskar, garbha dharana, womb meditation and post-partum & diastasis-recti core rehab, led by an AYUSH-certified Yog therapist.
I’m a complete beginner — can I join?

Do you have strength training and aerial yoga?
Yes. Movement & Strength covers traditional mudgal (gada) and dumbbell conditioning, aerial Yog, and a step-by-step handstand & shirshasan progression.
